The Kingfishers Bridge Naure Reserve Open Day
Saturday 8thth and Sunday 9th August 2020
Following the success of last year’s Open Weekend, we were hoping to hold another one this August. However, due to the pressures relating to the pandemic, we have concluded that sadly we will be unable to host our normal event; but our intention is to hold one in 2021!
Kingfishers Bridge is committed to giving everyone the opportunity to engage with wildlife and so, in its place, on Saturday 8th August, we will offer a Virtual Day with streaming of guided walks and demonstrations presented by our wardens and other experts on our website, Facebook and other social media platforms. We hope you will enjoy it and more information will be added nearer the time with more details. Throughout the coronavirus period the Reserve has remained open and this remains the case. All visitors are welcome, although please note that the reception centre and hides are closed. If you are interested in getting involved, either as a volunteer or as a supporter, please go to our website: http://www.kingfishersbridge.org. If you have any other questions, or feedback for us if you visit, please contact me or our management team at: info@kingfishersbridge.org. |
Ample parking will be available on the reserve at CB7 5XL, located on the A1123 Wicken to Stretham road, take the turn OPPOSITE the turn signed to Upware and the Five Miles From Anywhere pub.
