Bird Records from the Cencus may be out of date following limitations to recording in light of the coronavirus pandemic
The highlight after a delayed start due to misty conditions was the female Goldeneye was still present.
Highlight was the female Goldeneye on the lake again, and good numbers of other wildfowl.
Highlights were a White-fronted Goose, two Great White Egrets & two fly over Cranes.
Highlights on a windy day were the Cranes, 2 Great Egrets and the returning White-fronted Goose.
The mild weather for this time of year was having an effect on wildlife with Great Tit & Blackbirds singing and two Robins seen together. But the biggest surprise was a Peacock butterfly flying around in a sheltered area.
Highlights today were the 2 Great Egrets again and a lone White-fronted Goose on the lake.
The days highlight was at last catching up with more than one Great White Egret when a second bird arrived on the lake but was promptly sent off by the what is almost now the resident bird. it landed in Lambland.
