Kingfishers Bridge

Wildlife First Conservation
Since 1995 Kingfishers Bridge Nature Reserve has transformed 250 acres of farmland into a variety of wetland habitats.  It is now a vital sanctuary for numerous endangered species of the Fens.

Situated just 15 miles north of Cambridge and bordered by the River Cam, our Reserve has employed pioneering conservation techniques that have led to a remarkable recovery in both flora and fauna, including breeding pairs of bitterns.

All visitors are welcome, year-round, to come and discover the Reserve and witness conservation in action.
