How to find us

​ Kingfishers Bridge Nature Reserve is approximately 16 miles North East of Cambridge

Kingfishers Bridge is located to the north of the A1123 between the villages of Wicken and Stretham.  Look for the sign to the The Kingfishers Bridge Nature Reserve opposite the turning to Upware.

The Reserve is served by the East Cambridgeshire Tiger on Demand public transport service, which covers Littleport, Ely, Stretham, Wicken, Soham and Fordham amongst other places (see map below).

​Users can book a trip to/from anywhere within the service zone up to 48 hours in advance, by phone, online or on the app. Tickets are very cheap and under 5s travel free. The service operates Monday to Saturday, 6:30 am to 7 pm (excluding bank holidays). 

The Reserve can also be accessed from Ely on foot via the Fen Rivers Way. It is 4.25 miles from Ely Station to the north gate of the Reserve, about 5 miles to the Visitor Centre.

The Reserve is also accessible by bike from Ely or Cambridge, just off Sustrans National Cycle Route 11.
