Outdoor Learning

Based around our classroom at Kingfishers Bridge, we can offer educational experiences for children from pre-school to sixth form or college. Whether school groups, youth groups or holiday activities, we give children the opportunity to learn and explore outdoors. The emphasis is on hands-on investigations, practical activities and fun in an outdoor setting.

While some sessions can be moved to the classroom during inclement weather, please come dressed appropriately for mud and rain.

All our activities are risk assessed and staff are DBS checked.

School Groups

Led by our Outdoor Learning Officer, we can offer a range of sessions including science, enrichment and team building.

Activities can be linked directly to the National Curriculum or tailored to cover different subjects.

Home Education Groups

As with the schools that visit us, we can tailor your visit to cover science elements of the National Curriculum or make a session of activities to match your children’s current interests.

Youth Groups

We can adapt any of our activities programme for youth groups, whether aimed at achieving badges, beating challenges or just a fun outing.
