Today we moved the unused hide from Lapland up to a new position overlooking the newly regenerated Cam Washes. The hide is of the same construction as the 2 existing hides on the mound and took some removing from it's location buried in a limestone mound. Having been repaired and cleaned this hide should give wonderful views South over the washes and give a base for much needed bird recording in the area. The Hide will be christened and opened on the 11th May for the Kingfishers Bridge Friends Day. Many thanks to Sandy boyd for his brilliant help hefting this hide into position today
