Low counts on this cold day but good numbers and variety of duck. The main highlight was the Peregrine falcon, once again by the pool on the winter flood, unfortunately Bruce did not have a camera for this situation but made do with a through the scope shot. Also worth a mention were the two Marsh harriers over the reed bed.

Numbers worth a mention from this week 75 Jackdaw recorded in the cam washes, a nice number of 60 goldfinch between the wader meadow and winter flood. But the main highlight is a peregrine falcon having a wash in a pool on the winter flood.
Highlights this week are some fairly infrequent visitors but have been spotted a few times more recently on the lake, 9 Egyptian geese. Also some stronger numbers of gadwall at 41 and teal at 55 all spotted from the beecroft hide. And worth a mention, higher again than last week 518 lapwing on the lake.
Highlights from this week are 453 lapwing recorded on the lake from the beecroft hide. And 55 field fare in the padney field, but also another 27 between the cam washes and the rough.
Highlights from this week both from the Beecroft hide were 32 ruff on the lake and an unfortunate high number of greylag geese, a record of 860.
