Not to much to mention today at kingfishers but good to see fieldfare numbers on the steady rise as we go through spring 105 on the reserve today, split between lamb land and the confused flood.
A windy day at kingfishers Bridge, but some nice sightings 2 green sandpipers 1 spotted on the Cam wash and the other on lamb land, also Greame's highlight was female merlin on the wader meadow.
A reasonable amount recorded nothing too special to mention, but high numbers of fieldfare still and 454 starling mostly around the lake spotted from the beecroft hide.
High numbers of wood pigeon spotted on the 1st and high numbers again today, 516 overall around the project not considered too exciting but nice to see a healthy number around.
Egyptian geese still enjoying king fishers and duck numbers looking good 164 teal on the lake seen from the beecroft hide. Also very much worth mentioning 487 fieldfare split between different areas of the project.
